We do not publish our own reviews or self-awarded star ratings. Here is where to read independent ones, and why third-party review sites are the ones worth reading.

Why this page is almost empty
Reviews an operator selects and publishes about itself carry no information. You already know we would pick the good ones.
There is also a technical reason worth stating: Google ignores star ratings a business awards itself in structured data, and marking up ratings that are not genuinely visible and genuinely earned is a manual-action risk. So there are no star ratings in this site’s markup, and there will not be until there are real reviews to point at.

Where to read reviews that mean something
Independent platforms, where the negative reviews sit next to the positive ones and neither of them is ours to remove. When our listings are live they will be linked here — Google Business Profile and TripAdvisor.
How to read desert safari reviews at all
The market has a lot of operators and a lot of purchased reviews. A few things that help:
- Read the three-star reviews, not the one-star or five-star ones. That is where the specific, useful complaints are.
- Check dates. A cluster of five-star reviews inside one week is a campaign, not a trend.
- Check the reviewer. One review, ever, is a signal.
- Look for specifics. A real review mentions the pickup time, the driver, or the food. A fake one mentions the company name three times.
- Separate logistics from the desert. Most bad reviews are about the pickup loop and the departure time — both of which are properties of a shared tour rather than of the operator. See private vs shared.
What we would rather be judged on
The inclusion lists on each safari page. They say what you get and what you do not, including the things we exclude. That is checkable before you book, which is more useful than a testimonial.

Because reviews an operator publishes about itself are worth nothing, and because Google ignores self-awarded star ratings in structured data. When we have genuine reviews on independent platforms, this page will link to them rather than reproduce a curated selection.
Will you add review quotes later?
Only real ones, attributed, from guests who left them, and only alongside a link to the independent platform where the original can be read in full.
Where should I actually look?
Google Business Profile and TripAdvisor. Both let you read the negative reviews as easily as the positive ones, which is the whole point of reading reviews.
How do I spot fake reviews for a desert safari operator?
Look for clusters of five-star reviews posted within a few days of each other, reviewers with a single review to their name, and text that names the company repeatedly but describes nothing specific about the trip.
